Grandma Nussbaum's Quilt

She was not my grandma and I have absolutely no clue who Grandma Nussbaum was...
but this is the quilt that she made for Jeanne...
my bid was the highest when the auction on ebay ended...yippee! I had planned on giving it to a little girl for her doll bed...
but it still has not found it's way off my sewing table.

I don't know how anyone could part with a quilt made especially for them. Lucky you for finding it. I'm sure Grandma Nussbaum is happy it made it's way to a home where it will be loved.

I agree with everyone, it's so lovely! Sad to think that someone must not have played with it or the tag wouldn't still be there...huh? But it is worn so who knows...just wonderful!
