Catching up and looking ahead...

With both of my children soundly enrolled in school this fall, I have found time to do a bit of machine piecing.  When I saw that Lori at Humble Quilts was hosting a quilt along I decided to join in.  I can't decide if I want to add a row or two to make the quilt larger and so it sits.

After taking lots of dark icky photos inside, I made my way out into the snowy grass.

Slow internet access has kept me from blogging and I've missed it!
Maybe I'll set a goal of posting once a month in 2015 and see if I can keep up.

I have lots of quilts in the works and others that are simmering on the back burner.  I've promised three quilts to the retreat center that I've been spending time at this past year. That alone should keep me very, very busy.  I've been flirting with trying needle turn applique. AGAIN. Something about back basting clicked and I'm willing to give it another chance.

Are you making plans or setting goals or maybe limits for 2015?

Great version of Lori's quilt along - so fun to see them all! I'm not much of a goal setter - just take life as it comes I guess...
